Bayong wood bead nuggets here have been angled and curved into a unique shape. These beads fondly remind me of wood inserts my dad placed into his leather shoes to help them keep their shape or to stretch them slightly, referred to as a shoe tree. Here, you'll find warm reddish-brown wood with a rich color and nice grain. Each bead is cut on the bias at each end, which gives it the slanted shape and adds depth.
